1841 (Mar 27) entire from Somerset House to Switzerland, with 1840 1d black pl.9 JK, good margins all around, placed contrary to regulations at top left and tied by multiple strikes of the London tombstone datestamp, with “STRAND, D” hs, further tombstone, oval “P.D” and Calais entry adjacent, reverse with Delle and Neuveville arrival with “34” rate on arrival.

A spectacular usage to Switzerland.
