1840 1d. black pl.7 PE-PL horizontal strip of eight on entire from Cardigan to Dolgelly (Wales), margins touched in places and tied by eight strikes of red MC with Cardigan NO 14 1840 backstamp. The strip has been lifted and replaced and the entire bears some peripheral faults, a striking multiple on cover; cert. Karl Albert Louis (1999).
