Bayllis & Sons Needle Manufacturers in Redditch advertising ring round a 2 1/2d stationery die on a printed advertising envelope, with slogan “For Extra Choice Quality Ask For Baylis’s Sphinx Brand Patent Needles & Small Wares” and further illustrations on reverse, cancelled by Redditch “140” duplex and sent to France with Birmingham and Paris backstamps, a superb cover and probably the finest of the advertising ring covers known; cert.
