1870 Letter from Thebes (May 1st, 1870) to Syros (May 3rd, 1870) via Athens (May 2nd, 1870) franked at 25 lepta , the domestic rate for the maritime transport of a letter up to 15 grams by greek ships. Franked with one 1 lepton, a pair of 2 lepta (“cleaned plates” printings of 1868/1869) and one 20 lepta (special printings of 1870). Rare destination. Signed Calves.
