2 1/2pi violet and 1872 Penasson 1pi red, on 1874 registered entire from Suez to Trieste, tied two superb strikes of the V.R.POSTE EGIZIANE/SUEZ/5.DIC.74 cds with similar cds and boxed RACCOMANDATE alongside, plus transit and arrival bs, fresh, very fine and a scarce combination franking, a wonderful showpiece being the earliest known usage of the 2 1/2pi value, ex.
