1863 (Aug 23) incoming prepaid stampless entire from Monopolivia to Alexandria, carried on ”S.S. Quirinal” from Marseilles via Messina to Malta, where trans-shipped to ”S.S Peluse’ to Alexandria. The entire bears ”PIROSCAFI / POSTALE / FRANSCESI” framed in blue, ”ALESSANDRIA D’EGITTO / POSTE ITALIANE” cds and boxed ”P.D.” with arrival cds, extensive content. Somewhat soiled with small portions missing at top due to the fragile paper. Scarce.
