1838 (18.12) Sunday School Society of Ireland printed wrapper sent from Crossmaglen to Dublin, showing wonderfully clear crisp strikes of the following; unframed receiving house No.1 of the sub office Crossmaglen, a framed red PAID AT DUNDALK and black DUNDALK PENNY POST, with additional red Dublin PAID and manuscript Paid 1d, a stunning showpiece for the connoisseur of quality postal history
Note: Eleven different Penny Post Sub Offices in Ireland used the No.1 Receiving House handstamps
