1815 (Apr 15) entire letter from St. Georges to England showing a very fine strike of the “Ship Letter/ (crown) / GRENADA” on reverse across join, partly overstruck by red London transit, rated “1/2” and “1/6” on obverse along with very fine “SHIP LETTER / (crown) / PORTSMOUTH” hs (Roberston S11), some wear along folds, only six examples of this handstamp are recorded; ex Jaffé.
