Large official “Post Office Department U.S.A./(Military Station No. 4)/San Juan, Porto Rico/Official Business” cover front to Paris, redirected inland, franked by 1899 8c type I strip of six and 10c single & pair, tied by segmented cork cancels, showing neat “San Juan, Porto Rico/Registered” cds in purple in centre; some wrinkles, but a most spectacular and rare high franking; ex Kellenberg.
