Panther”, bearing China 1897 1/2c pair, 2c, 5c and 10c, tied by Large Dollar chop cds in blue on dispatch, combined with overprinted Sage 5c type I (2) and 25c, each tied by “SHANG-HAÏ/CHINE” cds’s, Chinese and French “R” hs and arrival ds alongside, a spectacular mixed franking including a Chinese-four colour franking on a very unusual registered postcard.
