Novomoskovsk: 1896 Envelope cover to Kharkov, franked on back with local 3k black and rose, imperforate at the top, cancelled by faint violet “Zemskaya Pochta” handstamp, in combination with Imperial Eagle 7k on front tied by Novomoskovsk cds, with Kharkov arrival cds on back, very fine and extremely rare, one of only 9 covers recorded from this Zemstvo, ex Dr Nikitin and “Nikolai” (Ch. 1).
