1863-66 10c red, a superb marginal diagonal half, on very early 22.8.1871 cover from Barranquilla to Cartagena (Mathieu correspondence), tied by pen stroke on part of neat “CHAPMAN & MARTÍNEZ/BARRANQUILLA” forwarder’s cachet, a rare cover with involvement of a forwarding agent and one of the earliest usages recorded of this stamp; cert. Bortfeldt (2009).
