1840 1d Black pl.7 FE, fine to large margins, tied to 1841 (Feb 5) wrapper from Lancaster to Preston (Lancashire) by crisp red Maltese Cross, with despatch cds on reverse, endorsed at top “Afternoon Mail”, missing right sideflap, very fine and late usage of the red MC.
