Description
1873 (April 21) Large wrapper from Braunschweig to Paris, franked by very fine 1872 1/2gr orange and 1gr red-carmine, each neatly tied by dispatch cds and both additionally tied by red French entry cds, red “P.D.” alongside, a couple of minor imperfections to wrapper well clear of the franking, a rare double rate usage to France.
