1878-1939 collection in Timbres-Poste printed album with early issues used including 1878-83 Large Dragon 1ca, plus 3ca and 5ca (perf faults), 1885-88 Small Dragons 1ca, 3ca and 5ca, with 1894 Birthday set to 24ca. A range of 1897 surcharges mint and used to 10c, with 1897 Red Revenues surcharged 1c on 3c, 2c on 3c (both types) mint, 4c on 3c unused, 1898 Imperial Chinese Post mostly used to $1 ($5 unused) and Chinese Imperial Post to $2 used. From 1912 onwards we note the Republic $1 mint, 1923 definitives to $20 used, 1928 Assumption set mint, 1932 Expedition set used, then Postage Dues with 1904 opt set mint and set to 30c used. A fine section from the various Provinces follows, mostly mint, with Manchuria including the 1928/9 sets, Szechwan 1933/4 complete, Sinkiang with 1915/16 to $1, 1928 set, 1929 Unification and 1933 Memorial sets, Yunan with 1929, 1933 Memorial and Martyrs sets. Thereafter, Japanese Pos mostly used (1900 Wedding mint) and Russian POs, a very useful range of around 140 from Shanghai with 1866 12ca mint then a fine assembly of mint, some used, surcharges, perf types etc. Finally, Manchukuo with plenty of decent mint issues (1936 to 1y etc). A superb collection.
