1844 (Aug 5) pre Post Office envelope with contents from Muscat to Bombay with two letters inside, the reverse with manuscript “received 29 Shaban 1260 from Muscat seaport” (Sept 13), some slight corner wear of scant importance, this being the EARLIEST RECORDED envelope sent from Muscat
