1862-1929 fantastic collection of stamps and covers, incl. SG1 (2 stamps, 2 covers with single stamps in various papers e.g. horizontal laid, vertical laid ample margins); SG12b used setting IVC; SG13a on piece; SG15 position 15 unused; SG15 position 16 used; SG19 mint sheet deep green on medium horizontally laid with large bilingual wmk featuring Gujrati characters and words of BRITISH MAKE and “& Sons”, perf 12 complete sheet of 20 (5×4). The position 4 and 8 flaws confirm that this is a fairly late printing of 1900-1910 Ex HS Whitaker; SG19 on European cover; SG22 imperf single on piece; SG22, 23,24 singles unused; SG33 complete sheet (5×4); SG34 sheet of 5×2; SG34b sheet of 5; SG35b inverted ovpt on cover with BPA cert. SG41a single on white wove paper; SG41 pair used thin greyish wove paper different from normal paper for this issue; SG43 and 43a both unused and used; SG45 on local cover perf 12; SG47a top margin block of four with inscription and right marginal imperf. SG47ab top with inscription marginal imperf between horizontal pairs (2 nos). Produced for a provisional doubling of the postage rate but soon replaced by a new definitive set unused; SG55 8a bicolour issue; SG53 3a bicolour unused; SG56 unused. All fine to very fine condition an impressive research material. Ex Dan Walker (S.G. £3250++).
