Lot 80245 – 1941 – 4 annas sage-green (SG42b) wide setting on cover

1941 4 annas sage-green, wide setting, on cover paying registered rate, message in Devnagari script saying “a notice that was sent but the receiver refused to accept it”. With contents and appears to be unopened letter as it was refused acceptance. Clear Registered mark in front and hole on left probably from the acknowledgement slip which was attached. A rare intact item, with history. Some tone spots, fine and scarce (S.G. £330).
