1848 (10 Aug) entire letter in Italian from Zante to Marseille, endorsed “voie de Malte” with a particularly fine strike of the PAID AT ZANTE crown circle at top left and ornate framed handstamp at right over-struck by red French entry cds, reverse with fine MALTA transit across flap.
