1849 (9 July) entire letter from Cephalonia to Blackheath showing fine strike of PAID AT CEPHALONIA Crown Circle at left, ornate datestamp to lower right, manuscript “5” for English packet rate, Malta transit and red London arrival on upper flap, the scarcest of the Crown Circles and a particularly fine example.
