1863 (1 Feb) envelope to Firenze bearing central Lefkas double circle cds, endorsed “Via Ancona”, reverse with Bologna transit and arrival cds, obverse with red manuscript “2” indicating Ionian postal duty, green oval-framed FRANCA and grey St Andrews cross indicating prepayment to destination, reverse with manuscript “30/30” for ships charge to Ancona and carriage to Florence.
