1887 Prepaid letter sent from Tripoli (18) on December 31st, 1887/January 12th, 1888, arrived in Alexandria, Egypt on January 4th/16th, 1888, franked at 25 lepta, the U.P.U. rate (1878 Paris treaty). The strip of five of the 1 lepton is from the cream papers w/o “control number” printings (1880/1886) and the 20 lepta from the change of colours printings (1882). Catalogue ref: Hellas 53a & 59IIa
