Welshpool: 1841 (Nov 10) wrapper from Welshpool (Wales) to Iron Bridge, with 1841 1d red, clear to very good margins, tied by a superb strike of the Welshpool distinctive “solid centre” Maltese Cross, with despatch on backflap which opens nicely to display, and arrival on obverse, small tear in address panel mentioned for accuracy, very scarce with only 19 recorded by Rockoff & Jackson (this example unrecorded) (S.G. Spec. B1taj £3’000).
