1842 (Oct 17) a lovely entire letter addressed in blue ink from Boyle to Dublin, bearing 1840 2d blue pl.2 JB-JC pair, with good margins all round, neatly tied by good strikes of the black Maltese cross, showing hand struck “NO 1” in blue alongside and a fine strike of the “Boyle/Penny Post” in black; a most attractive usage.
