1840 1d. black, BG-BH, Pl. 9, pair with touched to good margins, used on entire to Preston, lightly cancelled by black Maltese Cross and showing good strike of the “Poulton Penny Post” town cancel in Black, a rare combination. Cert R.P.S. (2000).
