1840 (Nov 10) 1d Mulready lettersheet, sent from Whimple (Devon) to Gloucestershire, Britannia not cancelled contrary to regulations with “EXETER / NO 10 1840 / PY POST” 3-line hs and “Whimple / Penny Post” despatch hs, heavy central fold reinforced internally, fine and rare for Britannia to be uncancelled and also rarely seen with Penny Post hs (S.G.
