1850-1886, collection of classic Europe in album, with very strong Italian States, incl. Papal States 1852 50 baj (x 2), Sardinia superb entire 1860 to Napoli bearing 1855 10c, 20c, 40c. Tuscany with 4cr green on letter and 9cr (x 3) with two certificates. Also very good Sicily, including attractive used ½ gr (x 2), 5 gr (x 4), 20gr (x 4), 50gr, some with certificates. Austria 1854 3 kreuzer attractive pair showing plate B combination (IIIa + 2-2) (cert. Matl). Also strong Lombardy-Venetia with superb 1850 10 c vertical strip of three (cert. Ferchenbauer), 1858 2s yellow and mint 10s brown, 1863 mint 3s green. Also a small range of Scandinavia first issues, incl. Denmark 1851 4 RBS w. Kranhold retouch; good Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Uruguay.
