Lot 20804 – 1911 Măgura Hotel Post of Austria-Hungary (now Romania), 4f stamp on fragment

1911 Măgura Hotel Post of Austria-Hungary (now Romania): fragment bearing a 4 filler green embossed local post stamp perforated 16½ together with a Hungarian Turul 10 filler red stamp cancelled by the Reketó (now Măguri-Răcătău) postal agency marking on 23 October 1911. The fragment is from a cover sent to Székelyudvarhely (now Odorheiu Secuiesc) where it arrived on 27/10. The hotel stamp covered the fee for transporting mail from the resort to nearest state post office. A scarce stamp in very fine condition.
