Lot 20763 – 1865 Austrian Consular Post in Romania (Wallachia, Levant), Bucharest to Nantes, France cover

Austrian Consular Post in Romania (Wallachia, Levant): Two pairs of 15s brown together with a 10s blue of the 1864 Issue, perf 9½ on 1865 cover in the 2nd weight step, sent on 12/4 from Bucharest to Nantes, France, via Vienna (16/4), Strasbourg 19/4 and Paris. The stamps are cancelled with “BUCAREST” consular cds in black (Tchilinghirian Fig. 714). A 10s blue was unfortunately excised from the upper left, and the upper part of the back of the cover is missing.
