1855 Crimean War, Austrian occupation in Moldavia (Galati). Front of accompanying money sending of 30’037 Turkish Piasters sent on 20/10 (1855) from Galati to Jassy. The item bears at top the “K.K.OST.F.POST GALATZ” Field Post Office cds (Tchilinghirian Fig. 742). The item has a repaired tear at top and some folds, however it is an elusive and very unusual item.
