1875 (Mar 17), small opened out envelope from Cairo via Suez to Bombay, franked by 10pa pale-lilac, 1pi scarlet and 2pi yellow of the 1874-1875 issue, tied two of three by strikes of “Poste Egiziane 17 MAR 75 Cairo” cds, with British Post Office Suez cds alongside, with the reverse showing “V.R. Poste Egiziane Suez” transit and Indian SEA / POST OFFICE, minor cover faults, fine, colourful and a scarce franking.
