POSTE EGIZIANE / CAIRO / 25 MAG 1872 cds, with similar and large ‘P.D.’ handstamp alongside with ‘FRANCA’ in italic at the bottom, backstamped in transit in Alexandria, the Austrian Post Office in Alexandria, Trieste and Venice on arrival, an attractive and a rare rate.
