1863 (Aug 15) envelope from Graaff-Reinett to England with Perkins Bacon 1s emerald green, just touched to large margins, tied by Small Triangular Obliterator variety A, with London arrival and ms “11” (11d credit for newly increased rate which was increased on April 1st, 1863 from 6d to 1s per ½oz, reverse with despatch and Cape Town transit, missing portion of backflap, minor toning otherwise fine; ex Dillaway, R.
