Lokoja: 1900 (Feb 19) envelope to England endorsed “N. Nigeria No stamps available”, with a superb strike of the Lokoja double oval ds, “1d / 520” hs to pay the Imperial Penny Postage on arrival (no postage due fine), reverse with Forcados River Feb 26 cds (1 week later) and Bedford arrival, some peripheral tears and a tiny amount of foxing, still attractive with such a good strike.
