1900-05 6c. purple and carmine on red, variety watermark sideways to right, mint o.g., some gum creasing though of very fine appearance, the only recorded example which is the basis of the catalogue listing. Cert R.P.S. (2002) harshly states “Creased”; ex “Port Louis” (S.G.£2’500).
