1859 Dardenne 2d. bright blue, two singles with clear to huge margins, from positions 18 & 4, on 1860 cover from Port Louis to Réunion, cancelled by dumb ovals in black, GPO MAURITIUS despatch for MR 23 1860 on flap, St. Denis arrival 29 Mars, and showing framed “M & I” (Mauritius and India) hs, fresh and attractive, a rare usage; ex Chartwell, Chand 2002 (Exhibited at British Library), “Port Louis”; cert. BPA (2012).
