Lot 65840 – 1859 2d blue Lapirot issue, early impression (pos.10) with numeral cancellation

2d blue, Lapirot issue, early impression (pos. 10), neatly cancelled by numeral 16 of Rivière Sèche; numeral obliterator on the Lapirot issue is very rare; a very attractive stamp with very wide margins (quite similar to Kanai lot 162), with BPA certificate 1996 (noting a central surface fault which is due to a tiny surface abrasion from the “sticky” postmark).
