Private Carrier Stamp: c1867 GLOBE EXPRESS LIMITED 2d black on rose, perf. 11 1/2 on three sides and imperforate at left, serial letter A, control number 6891, with address 8 EDEN QUAY DUBLIN, used with pencil cancel, bottom corner defect, an extremely rare early Dublin Private Carrier Stamp
Note: The Globe Parcel Express of Liverpool issued stamps for that city in 2d, 3d and 4d values, but this is the only example yet seen for Dublin
