The Michael Priestly award-winning exhibition collection is neatly mounted and knowledgeably written up on over 180 album pages. This study focuses on Priestly’s research of the low-value overprints, particularly on the plating of the Thom 5 line narrow setting and studies on the stereo formation of the Harrison 5 line coil issue and the Thom 3 line issue, showing strength in control number strips and blocks, coil joins and a few leaders, plus an extensive study of the ‘R’ over ‘S’ and ‘SE’ varieties, a wonderful lot for the student (1000s)(STC 1991 €17’500).
Additional scans and images are being uploaded on a continuous basis, and the complete set of illustrations for all lots will be available by 1 June 2026.
