1840 (22.2) Large part folded letter sheet from Golden, Co. Tipperary, to London, prepaid “1” penny, endorsed by the sender “to be forwarded” and showing the postmasters improvised rating in red “Paid at Golden 1”, unusual & scarce as Golden did not have a dedicated PAID AT handstamp.
