1828 (12.7) Folded entire from London and carried by hand to Dublin and sent on to Waterford, showing the distinctive oval fancy LINEN BOARD / POST / * PAID * in red, rated “1/6” with Dublin octagonal PAID/15YJ15/1828 ds in red, extremely rare and one of the finest of the recorded examples, only a few recorded Linen Board mkgs.
Note: Letter reads “I hope this day will pass over quietly in the North”
