1820 (7.6) Folded letter sheet, rated “1/9” and showing the clear oval red ABOVE * NUMBER * PRIVILEGED hs and overstruck by a crisp clear inspectors Crown also in red, very fine and very rarely found on complete covers, showpiece.
Note: On detection, the Free Office applied an “above the privileged number” handstamp when MP’s sent more than 10 letters or received more than 15 letters per day.
