1720 (20.4) Folded entire from Edmond Raine, agent at Clounish (now Clones, County Monaghan), via Dublin, to the Hon Dacre Barrett in Essex, with clear crisp albino CLOVNISH on face, backstamped linear DUBLIN in first year of use and London Bishop mkg, rated 10d which paid 4d provincial and 6d from Dublin, rerated to include 3d to Essex, a rare item as the CLOVNISH is not previously recorded and one of the earliest dates seen for the DUBLIN mkg, a wonderful early letter and a showpiece
