Lot 60266 – 1843 Bull’s Eyes 1844 60r entire S Paulo to Rio

Sao Paulo, Correio Geral de: 1844 (18.6) fragile entire to Rio de Janeiro franked 60r. black with margin just touched and smaller faults, tied by large date stamp, repeated at right, the letter was originally written at Campinas. A heavy vertical crease splitting down from top and some discolourartion bottom left. Only one other cover showing this date stamp cancelling the stamps is recorded by Bernd Juchert, this one is a new discovery and unique with the 60 reis.
