Inland Revenue: 1902 £1 dull blue-green I.R. Official, a magnificent mint marginal block of four from the left of the sheet, virtually full original gum (slight encroachment of the hinge strengtheners from the selvedge); a major exhibition showpiece of the highest calibre and the largest known multiple of this super rare high value, the next largest being a vertical pair which adjoins this block. Cert B.P.A. (1993 and Cert. Holcombe (1992). Ex Robson Lowe sale (Geneva 1976) where it was part of an original archival find.
