1841 (Apr 2) 1d Mulready letter sheet, stereo A234, to Colchester, neatly cancelled by a stunning strike of the very rare and iconic Wotton-Under-Edge Maltese cross in black, with a superb strike of the matching d.s. on the reverse flap which opens perfectly for display, additionally uprated by an 1840 1d black pl.5 QA, neatly tied with an equally superb strike of the distinctive cross, an outstanding usage and with out doubt the finest combination of this distinctive cross extant, a major exhibition quality rarity of the highest calibre and one for the philatelic connoisseur; cert.
