Imperforate Tete Bêche Pair, from the Post Office Registration sheet (plate 57) taken from neighbouring panes, large even margins all round, large part OG; a wonderfully fresh, the only known tête-bêche pair of this value; photocopy of cert. B.P.A. (1989) when it was certified along with the 1/2d. pair. Cat £45,000. Ex “Romano”.
