1901 (23 May) A beautifully executed artist’s original design for the £1 value in black and Chinese white with simulated perfs around the edge and a photographic “De La Rue Sketch head” inserted at centre, mounted sunken frame card surround (60 x 75mm.); a great high value exhibition rarity. Unique.
