1874 (Dec 24), registered envelope from Alessandria to Cairo, franked by 1pi and 2pi of the 1874-1875 issue, tied by three strikes of the “Poste Egiziane 24 DIC 74 Alessandria” cds, showing small boxed RACCOMANDATO alongside, with reverse showing “Poste Egiziane / Cairo” receiver, slight reduced at left, wax seals on reverse, an attractive franking, scarce.
