1924 Paris, group of covers with cancellations and Olympic frankings incl. 39 covers/cards with the “JEUX OLYMPIQUES / PARIS / MAI-JUIN-JUILLET / 1924” slogan cancel with a range of different place datestamps (a few with Olympic stamps and one with stampless with “Président de la République” hs), four with the Olympic roller cancel from R. du Faubg St Denis (2), Av. du Orleans, R. de Clery (tape stain) and Gare de l’Est (tape stains and toned), maxi card with 30c Olympic stamp with “COLOMBES / VILLAGE-OLYMPIQUE” cds adjacent, plus three items with forged examples of this cancels or the Stade cancel and handstamps, plus three forgeries of the proofs of the 30c central vignette.
